I purchased a fully furnished condo in Bahia this past January after visiting this beautiful city for the 4rth time. I , my wife, 2 of our college attending kids, & family from Quito, willl be coming & going from 12-12-10 on for 5 weeks during the holidays. We need a few things besides the 8 suitcases we have crammed full of stuff.
1) Where can I buy hand crafted hardwood twin bed frames & mattresses?
2) Where can I buy a queen mattress & frame.
3) Stacked washer & dryer unit.
4) Inexpensive non usa brand 4-wheeler.
Should I buy in maanta or Quito?
We are looking at buying our main house in Manta, Quito outlying areas, Ambato , or Ibarra once we take the plunge.
Looking to contact others living in Manta when we are in Bahia this holiday season to find out more about expat life there.
Not interested in speaking with real estate agents or others trying to sell something to Americans. (I,ll be paying 30-40% less than your prices for my main home just like I did for my condo:)
