Reality Finally Setting in . . .

Have pretty much been on the sidelines this week, just listening.

When you give people the freedom to share their experiences regarding crime in EC, a picture starts to form. Finally, people are understanding that EC can be a very dangerous place, even if you live there, and think you know the parameters of the Culture of Crime.
One simply cannot drop their guard at anytime, and must be aware of their surroundings at all times. One has to be careful what they wish for, and who they trust. Unsaveries have learned very quickly, that, "gaming," is the quickest path yet, to wealth and power.

Another issue that people are coming to terms with is the corrupt nature of American Democracy in America.
The Lady that who just got back on line after a brief absence, pretty much nailed it.!

Many of the Tea Party Members are well meaning, but are leaderless, and, for the most part, were used, manipulated, and scammed by the Republicans, to steal votes. Based on the experience of the past 40 years, Congress has pretty much given Corporate America - - especially Wall Street - - about everything it wants.

Meanwhile, the number of poor and homeless are skyrocketing. Two million kids - ages 18 to 24 - are living on the streets. Some (many?) are college graduates.

The income disparty between the rich and the poor is a national diisgrace!
It's just hard from me to get my mind around the following comparion, even though many of you have seen it before. The richest one-percent (300,000 people), had income and wealth equal to the bottom half (150,000,000 people), in 2009, That's HALF! of our total population.)

Given what Wall Street and Congress has done the past three years, they are all guilty of, "Crimes Against our Democracy!" in my opinion.

What ever happened to the notion of social justice and equality, and the concept of, "Utilitarianism - - the greatest good for the greatest number?"

Power, Money, and Greed, operating in an environment of immorality, are now the core values of our Culture. Human Beings don't count much anymore.
