If you are under 70, or even 75, and in good health, one can probably get along relying on local medical care.
But, as we age, unless we have a significant other, (and preferably, younger), it is tough to be single and alone in a Third World Country; and, having to deal with life's aging problems.
Alone, broke, and having health problems while living in Third World Country whose language you are struggling with, can be one's worst nightmare.
If you are able to figure that one out, please let me know. I, for one, struggle with this all the time, in contemplating a move abroad.
