Room/apt to rent in Cuenca

I will be in Cuenca later this week or early next for the second leg of my Ecuador expedition.

I would like a simple accomedation. Even a small apartment would be more than I need. So, I would Ideally seek just a room to rent. I don't see any listed.

Its not the money and I might just have to accept an apartement bigger than my need. Eating out seems the norm, because of cost...no point in cooking so no need of a kitchen.

Thoughts, ideas, critique?
