Inflation

Hi all, this is a question for those whohave lived in Ecuador for a number of years, at least 2 or 3, up to 10 or so. I am wondering what you all have seen in terms of pricing of both housing (though I bet I know the answer to that) as well as just plain old cost of living. Food, utilities, bus, restaurants, etc. The general consensus seems to be that the average couple, living comfortably, is looking at about 1000-1200/month if they own their place. I am wondering what the long term trend is so I can project our likely needs in the future. Thanks for the help everyone, will be visiting in the fall. Mac
