moving to ecuador ... 63 y/o guy who thinks he's a 25 y/o

As the headline indicates ... I'm a 63 y/o guy who, probably foolishly, thinks he's still 25! I’ve lived in Sausalito, CA for the past many years but have also lived other places around the world ... Paris, NYC, Aspen, etc ... I’ve always, however, come back home to Sausalito.

I’ve now taken “early retirement” and Sausalito is no longer financially viable for me. I’ve been researching locations around the globe and Ecuador seems to be high on my list. I have a monthly income of approx $1100/mo/US.

What I’m looking for here is any advice anyone may have about the feasibility of me retiring to Ecuador on that monthly income. It’ll have to include everything ... rent, food, cat food, fun, medical ... the whole enchilada! ... I’ll have no other income.

So what do you think? Am I dreaming ???
