Soon arriving in Guayaquil with the dogs

Hi again. Well, much excitement here as we are flying in to Guayaquil on Feb 19th from Vancouver , Canada with our two dogs! We're flying Delta so the dogs can travel as checked baggage instead of cargo (as would be the case if we flew with Continental). IF my information is correct, when we arrive in Guayaquil, the dogs will be waiting for us in the baggage claim area where we can get them and leave the airport after showing the customs officials the required health certificate. Am I missing anything?
