Intro to Forum & Visit to Ecuador...

Hi all, from Allan and Becky in Marietta, GA, near Atlanta. We're planning a visit to Ecuador in May, and have enjoyed reading your posts here.

We're planning to stay a few weeks in Cuenca, and will be flying into GYE, arriving around 8PM. We'd like to ask your advice...

Can anyone suggest a hotel convenient to the airport, and the best way to travel to Cuenca (shuttle, bus or taxi) the next morning? We'll not be renting a car on this first trip.

Thanks in advance. We're excited to be making this trip which is "exploratory" in advance of moving to Cuenca.
