Looking to move to Ecuador??

I am brand new to this forum as I just found it. My friend and I will be visiting in Ecuador Feb 15-March 1. We've both been there before and though I was not impressed with the Salinas area, we are traveling there and going up to Manta for 4 days. I'm wondering if anybody knows of a tour guide or somebody that can give me information on rental properties. As a single female, I hope to be moving there ASAP. Although I've never been to the Manta area, I have heard the beaches there are nicer and think I would like this area better. Or if there is somebody with a rental themselves that would be great. My goal is to find a place to rent while I'm visiting there next month. I know this will be hard not knowing what area I would like.
