Our 1st Scouting Trip - Update

Greetings - Mary and I have been enjoying our stay in Ecuador. Everyone we have met are friendly and helpful, providing us with much needed, honest information. The good and the bad. We are already planning our next trip here to get more detailed info on living here on the coast around Salinas. We have taken a lot of pictures and have posted them to our Facebook page (DennisMary Alexander) Check them out. Heck, a few of you are in the photos! We aren't scared yet! Susan's Ocean Hideaway is a GREAT way to decompress for a few days, quiet and tranquil along with her friendly staff, will make you relax. William T's Hostel Aqui is a hopping place where many of the local expats drop by to catch up on the local news and to sip on some of the coldest beer in Ecuador. The burgers are to die for! Yummy!!!! Hector and Kimberly have been sooo kind in showing us around the neighborhood and giving us the 15 cent tour. That has given us the opportunity to become familiar with the area. We feel we have been welcomed into the expat community with open arms.
