Any recommendations

My husband and I have internet researched retiring in Ecuador from the US in the next 2 years. We have found some encouraging info. but discouraging also. We are interested in the Salinas area. Does anyone have any dealings with Spondyllus or Phoenix condominiums that they can share? Also looking for any recommendations for honest real estate agents and a good lawyer.
