In the last week there have been at least three people in Ecuador arrested for making statements against the President of Ecuador. These arrests have been talked about in the papers. Today, the OAS provided a special press release and report about freedom of expression in Ecuador - I thought some of you migt gain some benefit from it and get a good perspective on the insult and defamation laws.
