I have been reading this forum for a few weeks and am amazed at the variety of subjects that "pop" up and your willingness to help out and share from the heart!!!
Well my question is quite simple. We are looking to relocate to Ecuador this coming summer-fall. But we are thinking a good way to find and explore the country would be by motorhome. That way we can just up and go and explore. We would especially like to go to Loja-Vilcabamba area.
Most countries out that way that we have looked at, have lots of places to purchase motorhomes, but we have not found any for Ecuador...don't know why....then I was thinking maybe you can give me a clue where to search for such a vehicle.
We are looking for a good used one, non-smoking as it is only a temporary thing, or even the renting of one if that is the only possibility. Our ultimate plan is to purchase a home there....not live in the motorhome indefinitely....
Also, what are the roads like up in those areas?
Also do you know where I can go online to check out the daily weather? In the Loja area? Do any of you live in this area, and can you tell me about it?
