for those of you who are living in Ecuador - how do you handle your phone needs? local provider? cell phones - what network? magic jacks? oomas? how is the service, coverage, and cost?

also, Adminee posted a survey asking all living in Ecuador what one thing they missed bringing with them, a couple of weeks ago. i was really looking forward to the responses, but unfortunately have not seen any yet.
