To be or not to be? That's a question for all of us to decide.

Are we going to be mice and have our answers shepherded to some nice, polite, and censored forum? Or, are we going to ask that posters to this forum adhere to certain principles: You know what I'm talking about. You research your question before showing your stupidity. And finally, you contribute your own bit of wisdom gained from travel or learning about a specific area.

In other words, you don't ask about driving the Darien Gap from Panama to Colombia. It can't be done.

Cuenca weather is no harder to find than New York's: You go to Google Chrome, type "Weather Cuenca", in the URL and Voila! Pick Spain or Ecuador!.

You don't fly to Argentina in July and dress like you're going to the beach --- even if the pilot says it's 28F, not Celcius as the twits thought!

I'm tired of catering to idiots. I have heard Maxxgold, ILA, Silverwater. Boncur, Susan, Hector, Ken, sinego, and others I have neglected to mention, treated like a group of conspiratorial terrorists because their attitude does not reflect the good old USA!

They don't tell you what you want to hear.

They also don't tell you that Ecuador is a place for wannabees, Stay the hell out!

If you want to help and become a part of a Third World country, the opportunity is there. Not so in Ecuador, it is not for you.

It is: But the conditions and realities are locally dictated. Few will gain the acceptance.
