Ecuadorian convicted of murdering American expat

As many of you know an American expat from Portland was murdered in Manta in 2009, apparently over a real estate deal. The killer and victim had been good friends and had both stayed at each other family's homes in the Ecuador and the U.S. The defendant was found guilty this week by a three judge panel. http://tinyurl.com/5s9cxeq
