Whale Watching in Salinas: They're Here!

Our current guests returned from the first whale watching excursion of the season with rave reviews!

Just off the coast they spent 3 hours watching the whales play and dive coming within yards of their boat.

Under the auspices of EcoPeninsular (they are on FaceBook), a registered marine mammal project and with the assistance of marine biologist Jessica and our own tourism giude extraordinaire Miguel, they spotted a number of these magnificent creatures -- and of course these creatures watched them too!

On the way back Jessica took them past a rookery of blue footed boobies -- so yes, they can show off their boobies back home for all to see.

By the way the trip was $25 per person -- the life experience: PRICELESS!

Hoping to get pictures up both on our Ocean Hideaway FaceBook site and on Coastal_Ecuador yahoo group shortly.

Come on down and see our whales...and our boobies LOL
