Moving to Ecuador

My boyfriend and I are mobbing out of the states. It's time. We are looking to buy coastal property in Ecuador- and take the residential visa avenue. We have been doing extensive research, but is there anyone who can put us in further contact with realtors, lawyers, has anyone built on their property there and what was that like. I suppose any advice you can give or direction you can point us in to be better prepared would be much appreciated.
