Expat get togethers

Hi all,
I wan to move to Ecuador but am kind of conflicted about the language. Obviously I will be speaking spanish 90% of the time, and the only time I can speak english is with my family. I was wondering if you have expat get togethers so I can make new friends and talk in my native tongue.
