should I hire an attorney to help with our move?

our little family (husband, 2 children and myself) are moving to Cuenca Ecuador for only 2 years, I would like to get all our grounds covered before we leave...

My husband is going down at the end of the month to confirm some plans
ie: girls schooling, our lease on the house we are renting, starting a new bank account etc...

I would like to get some more information on things he can do for us to help with the move while he is down there, he is only going for 2 weeks before our final move in June 2012

we have found out that we can not send our car because we are not moving for more than 5 years and we were planning on packing items with our car...
like kids toys our bicycles, my baking pans (I make cakes for a living) a small heater, game systems, linens and some other small items all ours nothing new...
does anyone know if we can get a small container about 6'x6' that we can send tax free??
