Phones and internet in Salinas

I am thinking of moving to Salinas and plan on going down next year to check it out. I am interested if there are land line phones with reasonable rates to the US? Or maybe a package deal where you pay one price for unlimited calling. I rely on phones for business. Also is there good internet connection there?
