American Airlines award travel

Good news for mileage hounds living in Ecuador who need a place to spend 10,000 AA miles.

AA has lowered their redemption requirements for award travel within South America. You can now travel to Galapagos for 5000 miles each way.

Travel to Argentina, Chile, Peru, for 6,000 miles each way.

Travel to Belize (divehavn?) Colombia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama and Venezuela, for 10,000 each way and travel to Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay, for 15,000 each way.

For Lan lovers, you can book Lan through AA on this redemption as it's part of Oneworld.

Keep in mind that you can book one way legs to and from any of these cities -if you want to utilize other forms of travel between these routes rather than use miles.
