Stop feeding the trolls

It became obvious a long time ago, that nickspm was a troll that simply wanted a forum for his conspiracy theories and to garner attention for himself. Reasoning with him is impossible because that's not his stock in trade. Just look at his "sources" and you will realize that there isn't a scintilla of scientific evidence to support any of his notions. Once I realized he wasn't a truth seeker, but an ideologue that couldn't be swayed with logic, reason and facts, I also realized it was futile arguing with him. In fact, it is just what he wanted because every time you would post counterpoint to his nonsense, it would move his views back up to the top to the queue for attention. We were all playing right into his hands.

I don't advocate censorship of any sort and it is obvious that the moderators of the forum favor his nonsense. So why not just let him post whatever he wants, including replies and successive posts to the same thread, and just ignore him? Ultimately, it is the marketplace of ideas that will decide what his audience believes. Perhaps logic, reason and facts will prevail.
