mosquito repellant

If anyone lives in the coastal plains, there are mosquitos. I have a very few, and they are very small. Since I have all windows and doors open, but covered with screens, I always have a breeze flowing through. Bug sprays will flow out the down wind side in about a minute. Mosquito replellants with DEET helps, but I have read that DEET is toxic. I have seen Citronella bushes, and the locals make a great tea from the leaves, which makes them naturally mosquito resistant.
On a recent trip to Gran Aki, I was brousing the bug spray area, and found a blister pack that seemed to say that it was a Pina flavored repellant, and cost less than $1 for a count of 24, so I bought 1. Now I wish that i had bought all that they had. What it turns out to be is a pinapple scented moth ball, and it works. It does shrink as it is aromatized. The name is Nafta Pino, in a green with orange blister pack. I have spread them around, and even rubbed one on my ankles, when in an outdoors restaurant, after dark. It sure beats those expensive coils that you burn.
