Used Auto Prices - Patiotuerca vs Other Classifieds

Looking for some insure to another interesting issue I've stumbled upon as I evaluate my options for Ecuador.

I'm quite familiar with the differences in car prices in the US vs Ecuador. However, I've been quite surprised by the disapparity in prices of nearly identical used vehichles posted on Patiotuerca vs sites like MundoAnonucio or even MercadoLibre.

I suspect that most listings on PT are from car lots and vs direct from individuals on the other sites. But, for example, I was looking at two fairly comparable Nissan X-trails with similar miles and the car on PT was over $7,000 more. I reliaze one could have been wrecked and repaired, but the lower price trend was pretty consistent across many different vehicles when comparing prices between PT and the other sources.

Can someone clue me in on what I don't know or why this price disparity seems to exist?
