what do gringos want

why do so many american gringos come here hoping to retire and then try to make it into little usa most of the ones advertising charge inflated prices for services and food and moan about the locals after all its there country and crime isnt any worse than a big usa city hopefully it wont be like other countries that retirees swarm to like costa rica not impressed
we have travelled the world for 3 years and found Cuenca and its people the most friendly and trustfull
