I need advice on which Bus to buy

My loan was denied last Friday for the new Steel Plated Volkswagon Bus for $38,400.. So I went next door to Hyundai and they qualified me thru my nephews friend at Coperativa Bank for $34,000 with the $4,000 rebate on the last 2012 models... I went to get my $15,000 deposit back which by the way is crazy to put up 30% percent down...Volkswagon gave me some long BS story that it takes about 60 days to refund my money back to me... So I found out thru a friend that the owner of the dealership lives in Cuenca.. I hired someone to go down there and politely knock on his door and tell him about my $15,000 deposit problem.. Now he called me back today and said he was so so sorry about my problem and made a few telephone calls this morning and he got me approved today with Banco International.... Gee that was awful nice of him... My question is which Bus should I buy now... I am cheap and my middle name is discount. I don't care about luxury... But my wife says to buy the Volkswagon because of the quality and engine..... They told her it has a smaller engine but has more allot more Tork than the Hyuandai.. How can that be.. I always thought the bigger the engine the more power it has... Plus the payments are $680 a month for the Volkswagon Vs the Hyundai at $485 monthly and both at a 5 year loan... You don't even want to know the Government Interest rate here in Ecuador .. It will kill you... Its highway robbery ...Can someone tell me the difference in engines and are the parts about the same price when doing repairs... and which vehicle will last longer... If your a mecanic or in the car business or know something about the two buses... I would like to hear from you................... respond [email protected].. thanks
