Ecuador Group Insurance: HEALTH, LIFE, DENTAL

Update. "From what I understand, having spoken to reliable sources":

As I understand it, the committee of volunteers (expatriates) who have been working feverishly to negotiate a fully compliant plan (under Ecuadorian Laws), will have enrollment packets ready to send out via email, early next week. I am told that an interpreter is currently translating the final document from Spanish to English.

if you are interested in receiving the enrollment / information packet regarding "ECUADOR GROUP INSURANCE: HEALTH, LIFE, DENTAL", you should contact this committee (100% Volunteers) directly at the following address. (Please do NOT send me private messages. I am simply sharing some information, which I am of the opinion, is true and accurate) Thanks...

Further, I have been told that for the Initial Period Enrollment Group:

A. There will be no waiting period for any pre-existing conditions under coverage; and

B. There will not be any questionnaire relative to health history, to be filled out, as this is Group Coverage; and

C. There will be continuity of coverage* for those members of the previous "expatriate group" which I have been told: was terminated because of a lack of a legally required "dependency relationship", with the group and it's administrator.

*Of note:
1. There has been confusion and misinformation as to why the insurer gave the group administrator (in Manta) a 30 days notice of cancellation. I am told that it was not for "too many claims". In fact I am told that that particular group had a 49% experience rating, which is said to be very VERY GOOD (In other words, documented NOT to have had excessive claims). The reason for termination was one of compliance. Many past members of this group are understandably upset, and wondering why the group administrator waited so long (about 3 weeks) to notify them that their coverage was to be cancelled on 18 February.
2. Salud SA claims that they properly provided the group administrator a 30 day notice on 17 January. However, I have been told that group administrator did not bother to notify membershiip until 10 February. I also have been told that the coverage cancellation date WAS 18 February 2014.
