Just saying hello

Hello to all!

A big Hello from me, Erika the redfox and hubby, Gary the silver back. (hahaha, I know, I know)

Hubby and I are very excited. We are planning to move to Ecuador in March or April this year. We live in the beautiful southwestern part of the USA. We are not getting old but ripe and mellow like a good wine. Can't handle the harsh winters any longer so it's time to make the big move we've dreamt about for years. Ecuador is on our mind and in our hearts for the longest time now. No, we've never been there before but we studied. And read. And researched. And studied some more. We learned a lot about many different countries during the last 2-3 years but somehow our gut feeling and our hearts are steering us towards Ecuador.

Hubby is originally from TX, I am from Budapest, Hungary. I live in the USA with a green card.

I am wondering if there are any expats in Puerto Lopez? We would love to start our stay there. Are there any rentals in Puerto Lopez? Possibly with pets? We have 3 dogs, very dear family members, we can not leave them behind.

We would love to start making friends before we even get there. We would love to learn about you and from you dear expats. We are coming with an open mind, open hearts and with open arms.
