All expats with residency status remember to vote on Feb 19 in the national elections.
Hopefully most of you are keeping abreast of whats been happening with the gov't run oil industry and also the construction company obrecht who have been passing out bribes like candy on Halloween.
Also remember if you don't have your proof of vote papers many municipios will drag their. feet when dealing with you on certain matters such as property matters. You are not required to vote since you are a expat, but the gov't strongly encourages it.
