How to work with Egyptian

After being in Egypt for 3 months, I notice the following with the people that I work with and as well as customer care service, I notice that they lie and accountability is non existance. They will just say whatever that you want to hear just in order to get rid of you from their face. My question is how do we as foreigners get an honest and true answer from Egyptian.
