Hi, everyone!!!! Thanks so much for the info on the crockpots. I remember seeing pressure cookers in Minya about 15 years ago and they were about 300 pounds which is more than I wanted to pay. So.. There must be some somewhere.
I am an American joining my Egyptian husband (we have been married for 15 years, no problem there) and I have been in the US at my job for a few years. I want to ship my Jeep Wrangler to Port Said. Now I know the import duties have been lowered recently. My question is this>>>>If I ship my Jeep, are there any mechanical differences in US cars and in Egyptian cars that will damage the Jeep. Like for instance a difference in the catalitic converter or a difference in the gasoline. I'd hate to ship the thing and have it blow up on me because of a difference in something or other. At least the steering wheel is on the correct side. Is there anyone who has had a personal vehicle shipped that can tell me about things like this. My Jeep is paid for so it might be more economical to ship it than to buy one in Egypt. We attempted to buy a local used car a few years ago and it was not pleasant (we did not buy) Thanks so much for reading this long winded question. I hope to be in Hurghada by November (without a crockpot).
Thanks again!!
