Move to Cairo, Eypt

My husband has accepted a job at American University of Cairo.

Myself and my kids are thinking of joining him next year. My 13 year old son wants to finish junior high since he is in his last year.

American University will pay for two children to attend school in Cairo. My husband is planning to settle in Maadi.

I am debating whether to move over to Cairo. My husband job is a two year appointment with a possible third year renewal. We currently live in California where school budgets are being slashed. The idea of going to a school, if only for a year or two, is attractive.
Besides which my 6 and 13 year old children will miss their dad.

Is it worth relocating or should I stay put with the kids?
