SINGING THE MUSICALS: LOOKING FOR SINGERS

We are recruiting new members for an amateur/semi-professional Choir at El Sawy (Culture Wheel) in Zamelek. We need singers in all parts (soprano, alto, tenor, bass). Rehearsals are starting on Saturday 9th October.

It is run as a workshop from October to January rehearsing weekly every Saturday between 12.00 and 14.00 p.m. We will sing famous songs from musicals (Sound of Music, Cats, Les Misérables, Phantom…). Bring a pencil to write and your voice ready.

Session Time Saturdays from 12.00 to 14.00 p.m
Workshop goals Weekly Performance of Musicals for the preparation of a repertoire of pieces that will be played at the end of the workshops in a concert. Attendance is key for this workshop; you are expected to attend at least 12 sessions to play in the final concert.
Workshop content We will play and sing well known musicals: Cats, Phantom of the Opera, Les Misérables, The Sound of
Music and others.

Subscription fee 120 L.E per month

Level of participants Singers and instrumentalists needed. Good reading level of
