Jobs for English native speakers

Hi, I just arrived in Alex from South Africa on December 5th. I am here to stay. I have found it very hard to - so far - to establish contacts with schools in the area. The ladies I did speak to at two of the reputable schools were extremely unfriendly and also so unprofessional.. Anybody had the same experience? it seems to me that Egyptian women just cannot stand western women. Maybe I am wrong but i doubt it. The interview that I did have with one of these ladies was no interview at all but an attack of east on west. Was a horrid experience.
