Teaching in Egypt, help!

Hey, am new to the forum and have some questions re teaching in Egypt. I have provisionally booked a place on a TESOL course in Alex later this year and would really like some advice. Have been doing some research online and am concerned I may not get a good teaching job this way...I was thinking of doing the course followed by an internship for a couple of months to get some experience. However I notice many good international schools may not employ you without being an experienced and qualified teacher, eg having completed a PGCE and then worked in the UK??

I am a school nurse at the moment and do have some teaching experience, but not a PGC. I could do this in Egypt via distance learning and hopefully find a placement there. This is quite expensive but it would give me a more formal qualification in teaching. I don't know so am hoping for advice, is it worth doing the PGCE or will their be good job opportunities with reputable international schools by completing the TESOL? It is an intense 4 week course but much cheaper than a years PGCE, am just not sure which is the best way to go..Any advice from those with experience in this would be really helpful. Thank you
