Opening a bar or cafe?

My husband and I are thinking about moving to El Salvador and opening a small bar or cafe geared towards tourists. We would want to live in a beach community, probably somewhere popular with surfers, although we have not decided on which coast. My husband is Salvadoran, although he has lived in the US since he was 6, so residency should not be an issue. Does anyone have any ideas or advise? We are starting to do research but are not really past a basic idea right now. Any recommendations for cities on the coast? Is it easy for people to buy or rent buildings to open a business? How easy is it to get business licenses? Any idea on how much it would cost to rent a small house in a coastal town? I appreciate any advise or information anyone can give me. Thanks!
