I am
moving to Santa Ana in Jan of 2017, I am on going to a Spanish school and learn to speak Spanish, then I want to stay in El Salvador and help with a ministry there.
What do I need to do to move and stay in El Salvador without losing my US citizenship. Will a regular passport work to be able to stay? I read someone say about Guatemala if you leave the country every 3 months ( or pay some money to have your passport stamped) you don't need anything more than a passport. I wondered what is the legal requirements are and the best way to do it. I am on Social Security and will be living on that money, so will not be working for money, will be just volunteer work. Does anyone know about Humana Medicare, will it work in El Salvador? Thanks for any help you can give me or any place I can go to find the info.
