Hello. Visiting some places this summer as possible retirement sites. Sweden and Germany seem to inherently accept US driver's licenses for renting a car and driving in those countries. However, the info about Estonia says the license must have a "symbol and definition of vehicle classification" the driver is allowed to drive. I don't recall my US licenses having symbols like that, or anything except a driver classification.
Does anyone know whether my husband and I will really need an international driver permit (IDP) to drive in Estonia?
Thanks!
