Moving to Fiji

Hello all,

I am thinking of moving to Fiji but am concerned about what visas would be required and how one would go about obtaining them.

My questions are the following:

1. can you arrive there on a holiday visa and apply for a more permanent visa when you get there or must any application for visas be done from outside Fiji;

2. what is the economy like in Fiji for expats;

3. is there anyone in Fiji that specialises in placing expats and is expert on the processes involved; and

4. I am from South Africa originally but am currently in the UK, how will this affect any visa applications?

Any help anybody may have would be much appreciated.
