The paradox that is Fiji

Having just read a few of the posts I thought I would make comment or give some advice for what it is worth.
The paradox of Fiji is that you will get to see the best and the worst of just about everything here having said that let me just offer a few hard learnt lessons.
Investing in Fiji is easy getting your money back out is near impossible.
Doing business here is a challenge as you are dealing with a diverse range of cultures,poverty is also an issue.
So my advice to anyone who is thinking of coming to Fiji to live is to rent and live here for at least 18 months before you invest.I know this sounds hard but believe you me getting it wrong is even harder.
