moving to finland

Hi, I have a question I would like ask everyone on here, as I am in a situation that could change my life.

I am 26 years old ( will turn 26 in two weeks) im currently living in the united kingdom, I was born here, I have very good friends in Finland and have been there twice already ( vaala and Oulu) I love the country and everything about it, I have known my Finnish friends for 4 years now and I can comfortably say that they are like family to me, they have helped me with a lot of things in my life.

Let's get to the point, I have been thinking about moving to Finland, possibly joensuu, I met a girl there when I visited Finland for the second time, we are thinking about getting married ( not 100% sure yet but its a high possibility, I'm currently living at home with my parents because of lack of unemployment and i suffer from severe depression ( which is being treated at the moment) I have been living in the UK all my life and I'm really not happy here, I have no good friends, no hope for anything, I hate the people ( no offence to any Brits on here) but this is my opinion, I'm miserable and fed up and on the verge of giving up, I know if I moved to Finland it would change me in so many ways, I know there would be a culture shock and a lot of things to adjust to, but I will fight for that, I am determined, I have a 10 year passport, I'm a EU citizen so I dont need a visa, in terms of becoming a permanent resident in Finland, what do I need to do? I know marriage will entitle me to that ( and I'm not marrying just for that, we do like each other) but if it helps its a bonus, I have around 2100 in my bank and I know apartments there can be expensive obviously depending on where you live, but she lives in joensuu and she wouldnt be able to travel anywhere else, how long would it take to qualify for kela benefits? ( to support myself as I hardly have enough money to live off for a few months,( i am not a benefit scrounger, I will work hard to find any kind of work and do my best to learn the Finnish language which I know is very difficult, I am just worried about money that will last me until I qualify for kela benefits, if anyone can help and give me some advice and guidance it would be much appreciated, I need to know the process of applying for benefits, registering at a police station, and anything else that is needed.

Regards Nathan
