Great Meeting Place!

I just had the best time last night. A friend invited me to a monthly happy hour for all alumni of US universities - not just for those with established alumni clubs. This group was pretty open though as most people brought friends and relatives that didn't necessarily go to American schools. I was a little hesitant to go and hang out with more americans, but it was a really fun group and not just americans. A lot of people there were foreigners who studied in the States or people who grew up as dual nationals.

Anyway, if you're interested, the happy hours are the first thursday of every month at Carr's Irish Pub, 1 rue Mont Thabor in the 1st. Metro Concorde or Tuileries.

Maybe I'll see some of you there next time?
