Property Hunting

My wife and I visited Languedoc this spring and really enjoyed our visit. We're thinking of purchasing a village house in the region and would like to know who has had good experiences with real estate agents/property advisors, attorneys, banks, and such. We're Americans, so although we have "market" French, English speakers would be required.
