My wife, children and I wish to move as soon as possible to Brittany or Loire Atlantique region. We are both professional classical musicians ( I am a violinist with a B.B.C. orchestra at present) with 21 years experience on the concert platform over the world. My wife is a professional bassoonist and has had 21 years teaching experience at private and public schools and colleges; teaching all woodwind (clarinet, flute etc..)and piano. I have 21 years teaching experience also.
We are trying to build up a private teaching practice in one of the above mentioned areas as this would be our survival income! We would be very grateful if anybody could tell us where most of the english speaking communities live and whether there might be enough interest for children and adults to take up private lessons with us. We are targetting english speaking people first as we do not yet speak fluent french, but once settled and speaking fluent french will accept both languages in lessons. Can anybody please advise as we are desperate to move as soon as possible.
