Insecurity

I just saw in the French weekly magazine "L"Express" that Avignon, Marseille, Aix en Provence, Nice, Perpignan, Evreux, Montpellier, La Rochelle and Mulhouse (in that order) are at the bottom of the list for security.
I intend to move to Avignon next year...Any comments?
