insurance prob' with a sick child ?

hi, my son who is 9y had developed a kidney problem, he has had an operation but wil need more in the future, expected to need more treatments for at least a year.
so how can we get health insurance for him when we move to france - if we can move with him?
anyone had similar problems? help & advise please!!
