Partner relocation packages?

20 years ago
I work in France as does my partner ('concubin' - i.e. not PACS or married, just living together). If I move job to another French region, can he negotiate a package? I have heard this to be potentially so but would like more information.

Questions include:
- Does my relocation have to be internal (i.e. move to another branch of the same company)?
- Or can it be a new job altogether?

I heard of a similar arrangement with a couple and would like to know more so we can make the most of this eventuality should it arise... Thanks!
