Schools for young children

20 years ago
Would like some recommendations, highlights and lowlights of some schools that you know of for young children (3 and 6) in Paris. We have not moved yet but schools will determine whether we will and where we will live in Paris (ie: 7th arrondissement or west-Paris suburbs). it would be ideal if the kids could attend the same school and wouldn't need to be separated - as they will be living in Paris for 2-3 years or more.
