American Seeking architectural engineering firms and a second home in France

Hello everybody, I am a ver ambitious first year engineering student in the states. I have taken two years of French in high school and now that im 21 years old, I wish to move to France and study architectural engineering as well as starting a small firm.

I dont have very much money at all and im wondering how long would $5000 last for living expenses. Im trying to contact firms in France and Monaco to see if I can land an intership and go to school there. Please help me, my American lifestyle isn't enough anymore. I want to see the world from a different point of view.

Also, I believe myself to have an award winning portfolio and im trying to get noticed internationally. Though I am a freshman in college, i am very passionate about what I want and if there is anybody who can help me get my passports and visa or get me some info, i'd greatly appreciate it.
